Elections for membership of the WAS Advisory Committee for the period 2017 – 2021

Elections for membership of the WAS Advisory Committee for the period 2017 – 2021 will be held at the General Assembly in May 2017 at the Prague Congress.

Call for Nomination 

Nominations are sought from individuals who are members of an eligible WAS member organisation, (See Statutes 7, 8 & 9)*.  Because there is a proportional representation system nominees should also consult Statute 19, point 8.

It is advisable that nominees read the full document of the Statutes & By-Laws, under which WAS is governed.

Nominees are required to complete the nomination form and submit to the Returning Officer.

All eligible nominations will be placed on the ballot. 

Nominations may be received from Midnight GMT 11 January 2017 until Midnight GMT 31 March 2017

Note: There are 19 elected positions on the AC. All become vacant in May 2017. While nominees for membership of the AC are required to demonstrate they have the support of their local organisation, AC members represent the whole of WAS and are expected to act in accordance with the Statutes & By-Laws and in the best interests of WAS.
